orderbird, an iPAD POS provider, and its strategic payment partner ConCardis have launched a solution for cashless payment with card or contactless via NFC such as Apple Pay.

The newly developed chip and PIN card reader allows for secure card payments and contactless payments via cards or smartphones equipped with NFC.
The joint product increases orderbird’s presence in the Germany, Austria and Switzerland markets in relation to mPOS systems. ConCardis is one of Europe´s largest payment service providers, with more than 400,000 points of acceptance across the region.
The card payment solution fee is 0.95% for EC cards and 2.5% for credit cards per transaction. There is no minimum volume of sale requirement, base fee or fixed contract.
