Crédit Mutuel ARKEA has partnered with AIRTAG for the launch of an HCE mobile payment solution.
The cooperation dates back to June 2014 when Crédit Mutuel ARKEA selected AIRPASS as its HCE mobile

payment platform: the solution, provided by AIRTAG, includes a Tokenization Server, a Wallet Management Server, a Mobile Payment Application based on HCE technology and a Crypto Solution to safely store payment credentials on the mobile phones.
To start using the app, users enter their activation code. Immediately thereafter, the user receives their virtual payment card on their mobile and can start making payments by mobile phone at any contactless enabled POS terminals. Biometric authentication is performed through user’s fingerprint.
This pilot, the first in France, proved to be successful amongst key Crédit Mutuel ARKEA clients and should lead to a national rollout of the solution in 2016.
