One of Britain’s oldest independent banks, Raphaels Bank, won two awards at the prestigious Prepaid Awards at the Lancaster Hotel, London on 2nd October 2013. Commercial Director, Mike Smith was voted Leading Global Prepaid Industry Contributor while Raphaels was named the Leading Prepaid Organisation UK.
“These award wins are testament to our continued drive for service excellence and innovation in the prepaid card arena. Raphaels Bank can now boast a market-leading position in prepaid card issuing. We have 4.5 million cards and £175 million of balances across 15 European countries with 21 partners,” said Miles Roberts, CEO of Raphaels Bank.
“In addition to our consumer propositions we also have a number of B2B applications from meal voucher cards in Hungary to transport applications in Spain. I’m really pleased for Andy Downes and his team that their efforts have been recognised with this prestigious award.
