PayPal has announces its app for Android Wear

dedicated app for Android Wear, giving users the ability to check in to pay at local stores, redeem offers, receive payment notifications, right on their wrist.

Paypal even posted some screenshots (as shown above) of the app in action, and personally, I feel that it looks great. It’s a good thing to see PayPal making a jump to Android Wear as soon as possible. The service has apps for Gear 2 and Gear Fit as well, so it doesn’t come as a surprise that they are working on an app for Android Wear.

The app is expected to rollout for devices in the coming weeks. The new app, which is initially only available to PayPal’s beta community, follows the recent release of the Android Wear OS and SDK by Google at its I/O developer conference. The Google APIs are constructed to help developers build new applications and user interfaces specifically designed for reading on tiny device screens.
