Payments Cards & Mobile Jobs of the Week

DevOps Engineer, Tendable

Tendable is a fast growing, venture capital backed business founded 6 years ago, applying the best digital technology to solve one of healthcare’s most important challenges – how to engage front-line teams in continuously improving quality and patient safety.

Their aim is to bring a transformational digital user experience to front-line staff, across all health and social care settings, by removing manual paper-based processes, thereby freeing up time to care.

In doing so, they provide front-line teams with the information and evidence needed to improve their services. They seek to provide management, boards, and investors in these sectors with a real-time view of quality across their organisations so they can support quality improvement and evidence quality.

Based on an exceptional early-stage product, Tendable currently supplies a range of blue-chip organisations both in the UK and now in 2 international markets. However, they now seek to take their offering to the next level. Their business has ambitious growth plans for product development (new features and modules) as well as international sales.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be supporting and working across the backend/frontend engineering teams, QA, and mobile teams in a vibrant and proactive technical environment, with the aim of both building and deploying services in an AWS environment.

As part of empowering the engineers in the DevOps methodology, you’ll be working to improve the shift-left methodology for software/application engineers, increasing test automation and accessibility and empowering engineers to develop faster, safer, and more reliably. Tendable runs an Agile shop and they work in sprints and follow Agile methodology in their workstreams, commonly in Ubuntu Linux environments. CLICK HERE

Senior Software Engineer – Mobile, Freetrade

Freetrade currently has 30 Engineers split across 6 cross-functional teams, located across 3 countries – they follow a domain-driven structure, with teams managing different areas of the application, such as the core trading functionality or the onboarding journey.

Their Mobile Engineers build their native applications using Swift, Kotlin, ReactiveX, and Firebase, as well as working with Full-Stack Engineers to ensure seamless integrations and user experiences.

Whilst most of the developers work full-stack, Freetrade is looking to expand their mobile expertise in the company. As one of the few mobile specialists, you’ll be able to make high-impact changes to the apps, architecture, and working practices.

As a Staff Mobile Engineer at Freetrade, you’ll work on mission-critical mobile applications and they have countless projects to get involved in, such as leading and pioneering apps ready for the EU expansion by localising and internationalising codebases, processes, and ways of feature development.

You will spend time developing new ways to scale apps, enabling the company to deliver faster: from increasing modularisation to testing new technologies, such as Kotlin Multiplatform and enabling the mobile to deliver quality and efficiency. CLICK HERE
