Manager, Financial Accounting Advisory Services, Grant Thornton
The Grant Thornton Financial Accounting Advisory team provides specialist accounting advice to clients across a range of areas whilst adding value to their commercial objectives.
With a passion for high quality work, you will constantly seek to learn and develop. You’ll support the technical and training initiatives of the team, and ensure clients are being delivered without sacrificing on quality.
Balancing the delivery of work whilst managing project economics and risk, you will assist senior management in achieving the objectives of the FAAS team and contributing to the continued success and growth of the firm. You will have control over project budgets, timelines and risk management procedures and understand the commercial implications of actions relating to productivity, gross margin, fee income and client service.
Taking responsibility for project teams, you will motivate and coach fellow team members and provide regular feedback, getting involved in training and development of more junior colleagues. You should be confident and comfortable with uncertainty and ambiguity in a project environment, and able to translate this into effective coaching and client delivery
What does success look like? You’ll hold a professional accountancy qualification (ACA, CA or ACCA), and you will have in-depth knowledge of IFRS and/or UK GAAP.

Senior Security Engineer, Detection & Response, Airbnb
The Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) at Airbnb is focused on automating security detection, responding to security incidents, and working with partner teams to build capabilities that support the incident lifecycle. This is the front-line team that detects, investigates, and responds to security threats and malicious activity.
While the team is not new, they are now at a point of increasing scope. This is a key senior role to define and execute the vision for threat detection and incident response capabilities and process while mentoring other team members. As a senior engineer on the team, you will have direct impact building, optimising, and growing securing capabilities as you help deliver world-class threat detection and incident response.
You will perform investigations of security incidents using your knowledge and understanding of digital forensic artifacts, log data analysis and/or developing automation for investigation & response capabilities that scale. You will also coordinate and drive resolution on a diverse range of incidents as part of an on-call team.
The ideal candidate will need 5+ years of hands-on technical experience in security engineering, systems engineering, software engineering, network engineering, or privacy engineering. 3+ of those years of experience in incident response including host and cloud forensics, incident management, threat intelligence, threat hunting, and/or security detection.
