Google is suing Visa and MasterCard, accusing the payment processors of breaching US federal antitrust law by charging ‘supra-competitive’ interchange fees. Google was one of those merchants that had earlier opted out of a $7.25 billion class action settlement in 2013 which was to be split among all merchants that accepted Visa and MasterCard cards.
