Global payment acquirer EVO Payments International (EVO) has entered into a long-term, exclusive relationship with Bank of Ireland to provide merchant acquiring services in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
The roll out of these services – which will be marketed under the name Bank of Ireland Payment Acceptance – will commence later this year. Under this exclusive arrangement, Bank of Ireland and EVO will provide merchant customers with a range of debit and credit card payment solutions.
“This partnership will offer new and existing customers cutting-edge payment solutions, and will change how consumers use their credit and debit cards,” said Gavin Kelly, director of consumer banking at Bank of Ireland.
