receipting, by allowing the retailer to provide enhanced customer engagement and the customer to benefit from access to relevant promotions.

AllReceipts allows retailers to offer an anonymous cloud-based digital receipting service in which customers can store and manage receipts on their smartphone without sharing an email address or taking a picture of the receipt. Receipts can only be claimed once by the customer and are then deleted, while saved receipts can be viewed by date or by retailer.

With zero development required, AllReceipts is enabled within the Star TSP100 printer driver and works independently of a retailer’s POS software. With over 5 million installations worldwide, the Star TSP100 printer has an established customer base that will be able to instantly benefit from this cloud based digital receipting service. Triggered by a traditional printed receipt, a digital copy of the receipt is sent to the AllReceipts App on the customer’s mobile.

Having received a copy of the receipt, the customer can now choose to engage further with the retailer by simply touching the retailer’s logo on their smartphone to link to the retailer’s promotional landing page in order to see promotions, discounts, new arrivals and coupons. Engage NOW is secure and easily customizable, providing a highly personal customer connection.

Annette Tarlton, Marketing Director, Star Micronics EMEA, states: “Star is continually enhancing its cloud services. By adding the new Engage NOW feature to the AllReceipts service, retailers can benefit from yet another feature that will provide enhanced communication with the customer.”
