Austria Card (Lykos Group), an internationally leading card manufacturer, increased its share in the Turkish personalization specialist Provus Kart Hizmetleri A.Ş. to 100%.
Former Provus thereby started to operate under the new company name Austria Card Turkey Kart Operasyonları A.Ş. With the complete acquisition of Provus, Austria Card will play a pivotal role in the industry’s development in Turkey and the neighboring countries such as Azerbaijan, Georgia, or Kyrgyzstan. It will particularly influence the future of payment systems, card supply, and card personalization and thereby introduce a new level of customer service to the area.
Burak Bilge, CEO at Austria Card Turkey, states: “With this acquisition Austria Card has magnified its operations and managing processes locally. The core targets are to increase the market share in Turkey and the surrounding region, as well as to offer faster and even more economical end-to-end solutions, while at the same time meeting the highest possible security standards. Austria Card has been supplying the Turkish market with cards and new generation payment systems since 1996 and it has an Istanbul-based subsidiary since 2002. Now former Provus operates as Austria Card’s service center in Turkey, ensuring the best-possible service level for the region and state of the art personalization.
